Students will journey from exploration and Jamestown through the Pilgrims, Great Awakening, American Revolution, Declaration of Independence, and Constitution. Each week combines film, historical context, primary sources, Scripture, and discussion as students ask: What really happened? What worldview was driving the people and events? What did the movie portray accurately? What do the original documents reveal? What does Scripture say? Designed to complement Classical Conversations Cycle 3 and Challenge I and pair beautifully with America In God’s Providence, this course helps students develop historical understanding, biblical worldview, and discernment while discovering America through the lens of providence. This isn’t just watching history. It’s learning how to think about it.
